ProMods Map
ProMods started back in december 2012 when ScuL and Nico met each other on the ETS2 social platforms.
The project began with creating Scandinavia for ETS2.
Since the first release of ProMods in august 2013 the map and team grew with lightning speed. The 1.5x release during Christmas 2013 drew even more attention to the map.
The community began to grow and so did the team. “We soon realised that ProMods did something that people liked. We invested more and more hours into smaller details. With enormous results.”
Right now ProMods doubles the standard SCS map. With over 30 people directly involved (forum and development) we got one of the biggest modding teams in the ETS2 community.
“Over the coming years we will continue to focus on expanding and improving ETS2 Europe wherever possible. We strive to make the impossible possible, by pushing the game’s engine to its limits.”
After SCS Software has released update 1.33 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 ProMods Team released their compatibility updates for the ProMods map and both add-ons. There isn’t any new content in these updates, just added several language translations for city and cargo names, a new feature introduced in ETS2 1.33.
Please note that ProMods 2.32 is not officially compatible with the “Beyond the Baltic Sea” DLC. If you have the DLC, you can still run ProMods 2.32 but you would only be able to access the ProMods Baltic region rather than the DLC version. A future update to ProMods will require the DLC and allows you to explore SCS’s version of the Baltic region.
